How Trust and Technology Acceptance Shape Luxury Purchase Intention in Recommender System Contexts
Description
This dataset contains survey responses collected from Indonesian consumers who have experience purchasing luxury products through e-commerce platforms. This dataset consists of two main parts: (1) the raw questionnaire data collected from respondents and (2) the processed analytical results generated using SmartPLS. The questionnaire was initially distributed to respondents across Indonesia. However, the final analysis focuses on users in Jakarta and its surrounding areas, as the majority of the valid responses were obtained from this region. A total of 503 responses were collected. After the data screening process, 438 responses were retained for analysis, as these respondents confirmed having purchased luxury products through e-commerce platforms. The remaining responses were excluded because they did not meet the study’s inclusion criteria. The retained dataset was then analyzed using PLS-SEM in SmartPLS to examine the relationships among technology acceptance, trust-related constructs, and purchase intention. The dataset is provided in anonymized form and can be used to replicate the analysis, verify the reported results, or conduct further studies on consumer trust and purchase intention in the context of luxury e-commerce and recommender systems. Data taken in 2025 timeframe.
