Description

This dataset originates from a scientific research project that investigates the erosion and deposition behavior of debris flows upstream of check dams through physical model experiments. The experiments systematically explore how factors such as the opening configuration of check dams, debris flow sediment concentration by volume, and the reservoir deposition state influence the evolution of sediment-trapping effectiveness. The dataset includes structured experimental observation data (in Excel format) and high-precision topographic change data (in point cloud format), providing a reliable experimental basis for understanding the sediment-trapping mechanisms of check dams and optimizing dam maintenance strategies.
