Description

The dataset consists of color fundus images categorized into five Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) severity levels. The No_DR category, with 1,805 images, represents healthy retinal scans without any signs of DR. The Mild category includes 370 images, showing early signs of microaneurysms, the initial indicators of DR. The Moderate class, comprising 999 images, exhibits more prominent abnormalities such as hemorrhages and exudates, indicating disease progression. The Severe category, with 193 images, contains advanced DR cases with widespread hemorrhages, venous beading, and intraretinal microvascular abnormalities. Finally, the Proliferative_DR class, with 295 images, represents the most severe stage, characterized by neovascularization and an increased risk of vision loss.
