Description

The Composite Groundwater Suitability Index (CGSI) is constructed by integrating groundwater recharge, lithology, and topographic factors and is calculated based on downscaled Groundwater Storage Anomaly (GWSA) data, which is derived from GRACE (Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment) observations. The CGSI is determined using the following equation:CGSI = 0.15×Topographic Suitability + 0.20×Lithological Suitability + 0.30×Groundwater Recharge + 0.35×GWSA
