Produção ambulatorial da atenção secundária em saúde bucal do SUS nas regiões de saúde do Brasil

The data were analyzed and presented in the article "Outpatient production of secondary oral health care in the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) [Brazilian Unified Health System] across Brazilian health regions". The data were obtained from public databases provided by DATASUS, IBGE, IPEA, and e-Gestor. The main data source was the Sistema de Informações Ambulatoriais do SUS (SIA/SUS) [SUS Outpatient Information System], and data on specialized dental procedures were accessed through the link https://datasus.saude.gov.br/transferencia-de-arquivos. Data on Equipes de Saúde Bucal (ESB) [Oral Health Teams] were accessed at https://egestoraps.saude.gov.br. Social Vulnerability Index data were obtained from the Social Vulnerability Atlas and accessed at https://ivs.ipea.gov.br. Data on population and demographic density were obtained from IBGE's Automatic Data Retrieval System (SIDRA/IBGE) and accessed at https://sidra.ibge.gov.br/pesquisa/censo-demografico/demografico-2022/universo-populacao-por-idade-e-sexo. The database was consolidated in Google Colab Notebook using the Python programming language. We also provide detailed information on the types of health facilities that performed specialized dental procedures.
