Description

This dataset contains the data collected for the study titled “Translation, Validation and Test–Retest Reliability of the Hindi Version of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) Shoulder Assessment Form in Patients with Frozen Shoulder.” The dataset includes demographic characteristics, clinical details, and questionnaire scores of participants diagnosed with frozen shoulder. Data were collected to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Hindi-translated ASES questionnaire, including reliability and validity. Variables included in the dataset comprise participant age, gender, affected side, duration of symptoms, pain scores, functional scores, total ASES scores, and comparative outcome measures used for validation analysis. Test–retest assessment data are also included for reliability evaluation. The dataset can be used for research related to musculoskeletal physiotherapy, outcome measure validation, shoulder disorders, and cross-cultural adaptation studies. Personal identifying information of participants has been removed to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
