This study is a retrospective analysis of a cardiovascular imaging trial, looking at which modifiable and non-modifiable trial participant characteristics are associated with successful follow-up. After completing up to 5.5 years of follow-up, we were curious as to which variables would be associated with successful follow-up. This paper demonstrates a strong positive association between clinical trial retention and having a primary care provider, an observation that has not been previously shown.
