Brachyura El Salvador Localities

Description

We searched and reviewed published literature on brachyuran crabs from El Salvador and We obtained records of localities in El Salvador from the reviewed literature. However, these coordinates serve only to provide a very general approximation or reference for the locations mentioned in the species list. Some places retain the names they had 70 years ago, yet the exact collection site remains unknown. Furthermore, in some older publications, locations are described only vaguely, such as "road between Santa Ana and San Salvador," or simply "La Unión," or "La Libertad"
