Description

Supplementary material for the paper entitled: "DDFS3D: a set of open-source codes leveraging hybrid 3D displacement discontinuity method and fictitious stress method to simulate fractures". This supplementary material contains three components: a) the user manual of DDFS3D (S1), b) source codes of DDFS3D (S2), and c) three numerical examples to verify the triangular element (S3). The input and output files of the numerical examples presented in the master paper and supplementary file S3 are included in the respective folders of supplementary file S2. We highly encourage users to explore secondary development based on DDFS3D, which can enlarge the DDFS community and advance the application of DDFS.

Files

Steps to reproduce

Refer to the user manual of DDFS3D (supplementary file S1) to understand the format of the input file(s). All the input and output files of the numerical examples are included in the respective folders of supplementary file S2 for users to reproduce the simulation results.
