Aerospace_Production_Scheduling
Description
This dataset contains both real and simulated production demand scenarios from the surface treatment area of a Tier-1 aerospace manufacturing company. The real data represent 30 daily demand profiles collected from actual production operations. Each daily scenario includes the demand quantity for 56 distinct items processed in the chromic anodizing sector, subject to complex operational constraints such as tank capacity, fixture geometry, and alloy compatibility. The simulated scenarios were generated by aggregating the demand from two consecutive production days to create accumulated-demand conditions. This results in 30 simulated scenarios designed to evaluate the scalability and robustness of a Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) model developed for production scheduling and capacity planning in this manufacturing context. The simulated scenarios reflect stress-test conditions, with higher workloads compared to the real daily scenarios.
