This repository contains the data and replication code used in the study “Climate Governance and International Travel Services Exports: Evidence from Emissions Trading Systems.” The materials include the dataset used for the empirical analysis and the corresponding code for reproducing the main staggered difference-in-differences estimates, robustness analyses, placebo tests, and dynamic group-time average treatment effect (ATTGT) estimates. The study covers 20 G20 economies over the period 1990–2024.

Steps to reproduce

Extract the files contained in “Data and code.rar”. The archive contains the dataset and replication code used for the empirical analysis. Run the provided Stata code using the accompanying dataset to reproduce the staggered difference-in-differences estimates, robustness analyses, randomization-based placebo tests, and dynamic ATTGT estimates reported in the study.
