Description

This dataset contains the original Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation results of hot water tanks subject to standby heat loss. The tank volumes and aspect ratios (height to diameter) are changed in line with common types. Experiment dataset has the experiment measurements of a 150-l hot water cylinder under standby heat loss. The test was done and reported by Jianhua Fan and Simon Furbo, the data was curated from their published paper (doi:10.1016/j.solener.2012.07.024). Graph digitaliser software "GetData" was used to obtain the experiment data.
