Gender issues in energy research in the Italian context

Description

This database contains: 1. the data from an online survey conducted with Italian researchers working in the field of energy research, aimed at identifying their research areas and the motivations that drive them to work in this field; 2. the transcripts of 5 focus groups, conducted to explore in greater depth participants’ motivations for pursuing their work; the gap between initial expectations and changes over time; perceived gender-based differences in opportunities; barriers encountered and negotiation strategies adopted; possible generational differences; and future perspectives on the energy system.
