A qualitative research study was conducted through semi-structured interviews to farmers from the La Piedad irrigation module between August 2022 to January 2023. The objective was to gather information about farmers’ perception to climate change and extreme weather events attributed to climate phenomena such as El Niño and La Niña; and the adaptation measures they are implementing for climate-related events already affecting their crops.
