Description

This dataset contains hourly averaged meteorological data of air temperature (°C), relative humidity (%), and atmospheric pressure (hPa) collected from four automatic monitoring stations installed in the Tampico conurbation (northeast Mexico). The monitoring period spans from October 2023 to December 2025. Files are organized by station and by year (2023, 2024, and 2025) to facilitate structured access and long-term analysis. Measurements were recorded continuously under real field conditions, and hourly mean values were calculated from the original records. For each available day, up to 24 hourly averages per variable are reported, depending on data completeness. Data are provided in CSV format. Each file contains the calendar date, the hour of the day, and the corresponding hourly averaged meteorological variables. Hours are numbered from 1 to 24; however, the 24th hour is labeled as 00 to represent the final hourly interval of the reported day. After the temporal fields, the dataset includes air temperature (°C), relative humidity (%), and atmospheric pressure (hPa). Basic data screening was performed to verify temporal continuity and detect missing or inconsistent records. Observations outside physically plausible ranges or associated with incomplete timestamps were identified during preprocessing to ensure internal consistency. This dataset provides multi-year hourly meteorological information that can support environmental monitoring studies, atmospheric analysis, seasonal assessments, and interpretation of air quality measurements collected within the same monitoring framework The dataset includes exclusively these three meteorological variables for the defined study period. Steps to reproduce

1. Define the coordinates of the METAR or AQS in your network 2. Access the setup platform of the Automatic Air Quality Stations (AQS) or Meteorological Automatic stations (METAR) you are using 3. Select Monitoring Period Select the desired monitoring period (October 2023–June 2025 for the installed AQS/METAR of your network. 4. Export Data Export meteorological parameters (temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, and other sensors your network may have) in CSV format using the platform’s default hourly average option. 5. Verify Temporal Structure Confirm that each day contains 24 hourly records. The hourly sequence follows a 24-hour format in which 1:00 represents the first recorded hour and 00:00 corresponds to the final hourly record of the day. 6. Organize Files Store exported files organized by station, parameter, and year without modifying original values
