An updated version of the annotation at the assembly YMM1 of yerba mate (Ilex paraguariensis): remodeled LRR-RLK genes

Description

Here, we provide comprehensive annotation files for the YMM1 chromosome-level nuclear, plastid (plastome), and mitochondrial (mitogenome) assemblies of yerba mate (Ilex paraguariensis), along with the assembled nuclear rDNA units. This annotation version is identical to the one deposited at the NGDC OMIX repository (https://ngdc.cncb.ac.cn/omix/release/OMIX007912), with the sole exception of the remodeled LRR-RLK genes. The accompanying README file contains a detailed list of the gene models updated in version 2 relative to version 1 of the YMM1 assembly.

Steps to reproduce

Once unzipped, the file YMM1 (version 2), embracing sequences and annotation tracks, can be opened using the software Geneious (https://www.geneious.com/updates).
