Description
This dataset compiles official annual reports on Indonesia’s Indeks Pengelolaan Informasi dan Komunikasi Publik (PIKP), continued from 2025 under the nomenclature Indeks Komunikasi Pembangunan dan Informasi Publik (KPIP). The index is an official performance-measurement instrument developed by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo), now the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), to evaluate public information and communication management across central and regional government institutions. The reports document composite assessments covering the input, process, output, and outcome dimensions of public communication. They may support longitudinal research, policy evaluation, institutional benchmarking, and studies of transparency, accountability, public participation, and government communication in Indonesia. The collection contains reports for 2019 and 2021–2025. The PIKP measurement was not conducted in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic; consequently, no 2020 report is included. The files were downloaded from official Kominfo and Komdigi web sources and are compiled here for research and archival access. Copyright and other rights in the original reports remain with their respective rights holders. Users should consult the originating websites and source documents for applicable terms.

Steps to reproduce
To reproduce this collection: 1. Visit the official publication or public-information portals of the former Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) and the current Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi). 2. Locate the annual Indeks Pengelolaan Informasi dan Komunikasi Publik (PIKP) reports for 2019 and 2021–2024, and the Indeks Komunikasi Pembangunan dan Informasi Publik (KPIP) report for 2025. 3. Download the official PDF for each available year and verify the year and report title against the document cover and originating webpage. 4. Retain the documents in PDF format and arrange them chronologically for comparative or longitudinal analysis. The collection consists of source reports rather than newly generated measurements. The PIKP measurement was not conducted in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so no 2020 report is included. Researchers extracting indicators should document the tables, pages, variables, and any harmonization decisions used because terminology and measurement details may differ between editions.
