MIDA5 Dataset is the complete research dataset supporting the development, formalization, and evaluation of MIDA5, an initial participative and user-centered methodology for Business Process Analytics (BPA). The dataset was generated throughout a multi-stage Design Science Research (DSR) process and contains all methodological materials required to understand, reproduce, and evaluate the proposed framework. The dataset includes the complete methodological specification of MIDA5, organized into five phases, fourteen stages, thirty-three activities, and sixty-one methodological artifacts, together with standardized implementation guides, collaborative forms, workflow diagrams, methodological templates, evaluation instruments, and supporting documentation. These materials describe the complete implementation process, from organizational contextualization and process characterization to analytical opportunity identification, data preparation, ETL design, analytical database construction, dashboard development, and iterative validation. Additionally, the dataset contains the empirical materials generated during the case study conducted in a public university, including anonymized organizational characterization documents, process models, analytical models, ETL specifications, database schemas, dashboard prototypes, implementation evidence, usability and satisfaction assessment instruments, and complementary documentation supporting the evaluation of the methodology. The dataset also incorporates complementary materials obtained from additional organizational applications used to assess the applicability of MIDA5 across different organizational contexts. MIDA5 integrates concepts from Business Process Analytics, Business Process Management, Data Analytics, User-Centered Design, and gamification into a structured implementation framework that emphasizes stakeholder participation, collaborative decision-making, methodological reproducibility, and organizational knowledge transformation. The methodological artifacts were designed to facilitate implementation by both technical and non-technical participants while reducing methodological and technological barriers commonly encountered in organizations with limited analytical maturity. Review the methodological documentation to understand the conceptual foundations of MIDA5, its five phases, fourteen stages, thirty-three activities, and sixty-one methodological artifacts. Select an organizational environment where Business Process Analytics is required. The methodology is particularly suitable for organizations with limited process documentation, heterogeneous data sources, or low analytical maturity.
