Description

This dataset contains the supplemental video associated with the article “Broad Reverse Approach Surgery for HS (BRASH): an inside-out surgical technique for localized hidradenitis suppurativa” accepted for publication in JAAD International. The video provides a step-by-step demonstration of Broad Reverse Approach Surgery for HS (BRASH), an inside-out surgical technique intended for carefully selected localized hidradenitis suppurativa lesions. The procedure illustrates elevation of the affected skin and subcutaneous tissue as a dermo-subcutaneous flap, reflection of the involved block to expose its undersurface, direct visualization of the diseased tissue, curettage and sharp excision of fibrotic bands, fistulous tracts and tunnelized extensions, followed by flap repositioning and primary closure. The material is provided as supplemental educational content to support the technical description reported in the manuscript. Written informed consent for publication was obtained.
