Description

Two-dimensional nematic liquid crystals confined in square domains are simulated via Nematic-Multi-particle Collision Dynamics based on different mean-field interactions, namely: the Maier-Saupe (MS) mean-field potential, the Marrucci-Greco (MG) mean-field potential; and a mean-field potential proposed by Ilg, Karlin, and Öttinger (IKO). These files, in .vtk format, show examples of relaxations dynamics of such confined nematics for systems with different size (L) and interaction strength (U).
