Community Wellbeing and Entrepreneurial Intentions in Rural Jammu
Description
This study examines the relationship between community wellbeing and entrepreneurial intentions among individuals in rural Jammu. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 400 respondents through stratified sampling and analysed using SPSS 25. Exploratory Factor Analysis identified seven dimensions of community wellbeing, while logistic regression assessed their influence on entrepreneurial intentions. Perceived safety, social cohesion, community support, and community cohesion showed significant positive relationships with entrepreneurial intentions, whereas environmental amenities and sustainable local governance were not significant. The findings highlight community-based pathways for strengthening rural entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
