We combined 22,748 global field observation data with multi-source remote sensing data and data-driven modeling to generate a high-resolution global soil salinity map with robust performance (R²=0.65). Among them, 637 measurement points were from arid regions in China, and 22,748 global field stations were from WoSIS (https://www.isric.org/explore/wosis) The urbanization intensity (UI) data is quantified based on the impervious surface area data from 2018, with the source of the 2018 impervious surface area data being (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.rse.2019.111510)
