Description

Modeling bioprocess kinetics requires two experimental data sets that will perform parameter estimation, cross-validation performance, and bootstrap confidence analysis. Once model is validated, all parameters are estimated, optimal batch design is projected based on set objectives

Steps to reproduce

1. Data sets are provided for two experimental sets, the first two scripts will perform modeling and cross-validation, and the third script will perform sensitivity analysis. The final script is an optimal batch design where the model is fully known. We are optimizing batch startup, i.e., amount of substrate and biomass to start with that will produce maximum amount of product within minimum time frame, while keeping low amount of residual substrate
