Data on Jamun Seed (Syzygium cumini) Biochar; preparation, Initial Characterization, Experimental Design and Adsorption of Ciprofloxacin and Lamivudine: Part 1
Description
The remediation of organics from the environment is a challenging task, especially for ultra-low levels. This study is designed to prepare biochar from Jamun Seed (Syzygium cumini), characterize and utilize it for remediation of organics from synthetic water. Response Surface Methodology is used for the optimization of the removal of organics.

Steps to reproduce
Jamun seeds were collected and dried in the shade, ground to a uniform size, and carbonized using a tube carbonized at temperatures of 250-, 300,400,500 -,600-, and 750-degree celsius. Followed, by initial characterization using CHNS Analyser, FTIR, and BET analysis for surface area, volume, and pore size distribution. The experimental setup was designed using Response Surface Methodology (RSM) and initial adsorption experiments using a format for Ciprofloxacin and L lamivudine to obtain the removal efficiency of prepared biochar in a synthetic solution.
