Description

Two datasets, including digital images of Red Chilli Powder (RcP) adulteration, specifically the Khammam Teja (KT), were sourced from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Dataset I (DS I) targeted binary classification and comprised pure KT samples (C1_PKT) and adulterated KT samples (C2_AKT), totaling 1339 images. Furthermore, Dataset II (DS II) supported 19 classes: one for pure KT RcP (KT00) and 18 for adulterated samples (adulterants that are commonly used in the industry), representing six natural adulterants (i.e., Wood Saw (WS), Wheat Bran (WB), Low grade chilli (Boriya Chilli (BM) from Kanyakumari, United (UT) from Punjab, and Guntur Mix (GM) from Andhra Pradesh) at three concentration levels (5%, 10%, and 15%). The total number of images in DS II is 5275, with a training (80%) and testing (20%) split ratio.
