This retrospective study enrolled men from infertile couples at the Military Institute of Clinical Embryology and Andrology and Fertility Hospital of Hanoi between January 2020 and December 2023. A total of 18,584 male subjects were included. Karyotyping was performed to identify numerical and structural chromosomal abnormalities. Variations in heterochromatin length were also reported. In cases where karyotyping indicated a structural deletion on the Y chromosome, multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to detect Y chromosome microdeletions. Data were analyzed using STATA 16.0 software.
