The data were collected from the farmers through Interview Method. Top three villages by area of cultivation were identified in each of the district and the farmers were contacted personally by the researcher to record the details of farming, mode of selling the produce, interest, awareness, perception towards futures and other preferred marketing alternatives. Future researchers can add other risk management techniques for farmers for data collection. The data set will be helpful for any researcher interested in studying farmers welfare and hedging intention of farmers in commodity futures and options market.
