Table V presents thresholds at which income inequality (Atkinson, Gini, and Palma) negatively affect energy consumption per capita. Hence, only thresholds corresponding to negative marginal effects are computed. Moreover, negative marginal effects overwhelmingly dominate positive marginal effects.
