Description

This database contains visible and thermal images of three species of agricultural products ( Red apple, mushroom, and cucumber). About 160 organic and non-organic apples, 120 organic and non-organic mushrooms, and 30 organic and non-organic cucumber were utilized for this research. The images were captured by rotating each fruit 360 degrees at different levels to take pictures of the fruit’s various surfaces. So approximately 3 to 4 photos of each fruit were taken. The total dataset includes 1150 pictures of visible images and 1166 pictures of thermal images. Dali-tech T4/T8 infrared thermal image camera with dimensions of 640*480 pixels for output image was used to capture fruits and vegetables. The wavelength range of this camera is from 8 to 14 μm, and its minimum sensitivity is 0.04 °C at an ambient temperature of 30 °C. A 12-megapixel mobile phone camera (iPhone 12-pro) with output image dimensions of 4032*3024 was utilized for visible imaging.
