Characterization of bacteria colonizing the mucosal layer of the gastrointestinal tract of Atlantic salmon farmed in a warm water region
Description
Data is based on a study of farmed Atlantic salmon gut microbiome. Fish were sampled from farms and hatcheries in Tasmania, Australia. 1. Sequence data - 8 spreadsheets including bacterial sequence output from DADA2 (Galaxy Australia), read counts, and classifications based off GreenGenes2. The data was collected from samples from farmed Atlantic salmon over several surveys. Metadata summary file provides sources of sequences, animal ethics permits, and some sampling information. 2. Differential abundance analysis - 2 spreadsheets including transformations and statistics (p-values, effect sizes) for comparisons of read abundances for bacterial OTUs 3. Subsampled reads for the combined sequenced dataset to portray overall abundance trends by sample type and by season.
