HW3D: Global dataset of heat wave types based on multi-level atmospheric temperature anomalies

Description

The HW3D dataset was created for the global domain excluding the polar regions, encompassing both land-surface areas and water bodies between 70°N and 70°S using the ERA5 reanalysis. Temperatures at 13 levels are employed: at 2 meters above ground, 850, 800, 750, 700, 650, 600, 550, 500, 450, 400, 350, and 300 hPa, allow studying vertical features of heat waves.
