Steps to reproduce

Non-stimulated saliva samples were collected by the patients using the spitting method into a sterile universal collector. Salivary cytokine levels were measured using the Cytometric Bead Array (CBA) Human Th1/Th2/Th17 Cytokine Kit (BD™ Biosciences, San Jose, California, USA). The assay was conducted according to the manufacturer's protocol.
