Patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) have higher requirements for the hemodynamic effects of anesthetics.This study evaluated the effect of sevoflurane-based inhalational anesthesia during parathyroidectomy in patients with ESRD as compared with that using propofol-based total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA).
