This dataset contains 24-hour nectar sampling data and corresponding environmental measurements collected from individual flowers of black locust trees (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) between 2023 and 2024 in Hungary. File name: Robinia_Nectar_23-24_HUN.xlsx Main Components: Timestamp & Location - Date: Exact date and time of sampling (YYYY.mm.dd HH:MM:SS). - Location: The study site (e.g., "Debrecen, Nagycsere"). - Tree_n: Tree ID being observed. - Cluster_n: Flower cluster ID. - Flowernum: Number of flowers on that cluster. - Flower_n: Flower ID. - Receptacle: Receptacle colour (Z = Green, P = Red). Nectar measurements - Nectarmg: Amount of nectar in mg measured per flower. - Sugarconc: Sugar concentration of nectar in % (e.g., "35%") per flower. - Sugarcontent: Estimated sugar value per flower. Environmental parameters - Temp: Temperature in °C (e.g., 22.9). - Hum: Humidity in % (e.g., 51.1). - Solarrad: Solar radiation in W/m². - Okta: Cloud cover in oktas (0 = clear). - Pressure: Atmospheric pressure in hPa. - Winddir: Wind direction in degrees. - Windspeed: Wind speed in m/s. - Synop: Synoptic weather code (NOSIG = No significant change). - Notes: Hungarian text — e.g., "sok virág" = "many flowers". - S: Sky condition (e.g., sunny). - R24, H_R24: Rainfall over past 24h (R24 = near the study site, H_R24 = nearest meteorological station). Additional information Nearest meteorological station WMO number: 64711. Meteorological measurements were recorded by a local micrometeorological station located at the experimental site in Debrecen, Nagycsere.
