Description

This dataset contains spatial data of the North East (NE) edaphoclimatic zone of India (Bhowmik and Ray, 2025) that was identified by us to be most vulnerable to infestation by Lantana camara in the upcoming decades, based on soil and projected climatic conditions. The folder "Generalised NE" contains the dataset contains the soil distribution according to classification used by Bhowmik and Ray (2025) in the NE climatic region, whereas the dataset "Susceptible Zone in NE" contains the dataset of the dissolved shapefile and associated data, based on whether they were primarily susceptible to infestation by Lantana camara or not - determined from the soil classification and climate extremes.
