Displacement-controlled nanoindentation tests on natural antigorite samples were conducted using the Alemnis Stand-Alone Indenter (ex-situ). Tests were conducted at the Department of Materials Science and Environmental Engineering, Tampere University. Post-indentation microstructural characterization was conducted at the Tampere Microscopy Centre. Three modes of nanoindentation tests were conducted, including Constant Strain Rate (CSR), Strain Rate Jump (SRJ), and Cyclic nanoindentation tests. Four different orders of magnitudes of strain rate were imposed (0.01, 0.1, 1, and 10 s⁻¹).
