Description

This dataset provides cross-sectional data on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) among breast cancer patients who have undergone mastectomy in Bangladesh. The data was collected from 138 respondents via a structured questionnaire. The dataset is organized into 20 columns, capturing a wide range of information for each patient. The primary outcome variables are PTSD (a categorical variable indicating the presence or absence of PTSD) and PTSD_Nu (a numerical score, likely representing the severity of PTSD symptoms). This dataset is valuable for researchers in oncology, psychology, and public health. It can be utilized to model the prevalence of PTSD in this specific population, identify key demographic, clinical, and social risk factors, and inform the development of targeted psychosocial support interventions for post-mastectomy breast cancer patients in Bangladesh and similar settings.
