Data Repository Items for our manuscript titled "Mafic rock weathering, river lithium isotopes, and the evolution of Cenozoic seawater chemistry" submitted to Earth and Planetary Science Letters. 1 file is attached in this repository: Supplementary Data File 1 Supplementary Data File 1 contains: - The 3 supplementary tables seen in the supplementary material file - All geochemical, clay mineral, and riverine topographical and hydrological data generated for this study - Li mass balance model construction, parameters and results - Global d7Li dataset and references - Cenozoic seawater Mg/Ca ratio dataset and references Supplementary table captions: Table S1. Sampling localities. Table S2: Li mass balance - Model input parameters. Model flux and isotopic ratios were based on and adapted from the present-day end-member scenario seen in (Misra & Froelich, 2012; See references therein). See Fig. 7, Supplementary Text 4, and Table S3 for detailed description of the model construction. Table S3: Li mass balance - Present day global mafic flux values. Values used to estimate the present-day mafic riverine flux, which was then scaled through the Cenozoic with the global active suture length record, to estimate the ultramafic-to-mafic draining riverine flux at each timestep.
