The results were obtained from in vivo experiments conducted in virgin female CD1 mice, in which intrauterine inflammation was induced by intraperitoneal injection of LPS. Mice were pretreated with the anti-inflammatory cytokines LIF and OSM, and uterine tissues as well as macrophages were collected to assess the impact of these cytokines in an inflamed uterine environment. Analyses were performed using Western blotting, PCR, histopathology, and immunohistochemistry (IHC).
