Data for: Sustainable slope restoration with biochar-amended artificial soil through time- and dose-dependent regulation of aggregate stability and carbon accumulation
Description
This dataset supports the research article "Sustainable slope restoration with biochar-amended artificial soil through time- and dose-dependent regulation of aggregate stability and carbon accumulation". It contains the raw and processed data from a 90-day incubation experiment investigating the combined effects of cement (4%, 8%, 12% by dry soil mass) and biochar (0, 1.5%, 3%, 4.5% by dry soil mass) on the aggregate stability and structural properties of artificial soil used for slope ecological restoration. Ten treatments (including a control without cement or biochar) were incubated in triplicate at 25 °C and destructively sampled at 30, 60, and 90 days. The dataset is organized into two items: 1. Aggregate_stability_and_properties.xlsx — all statistical data reported in the article, including mean weight diameter (MWD), fractal dimension (Dm), soil physicochemical properties (pH, bulk density, total porosity, soil water content, mechanical composition, erodibility factor K), binding agents (SOC, GRSP, CaCO3, Fed, Feo, Fep), and enzyme activities (UE, BG, POX, CAT) at 30/60/90 days, together with a treatment code table; 2. Microstructure_raw_data/ — original raw files of microstructural characterization at day 90, organized in subfolders: EDS/ (elemental analysis outputs), XRD/ (diffraction patterns, 2θ vs. intensity), FTIR/ (transmittance spectra), and XPS/ (C 1s spectra and peak deconvolution outputs). The data were used for statistical analyses (three-way repeated-measures ANOVA, orthogonal range analysis, redundancy analysis, Pearson correlation, and path analysis) reported in the article.
