Description

This research study is conducted to compare the effectiveness of Ultrasound Therapy (UST) combined with Isometric exercises versus Interferential Therapy (IFT) combined with Soft Tissue Release techniques in reducing pain and increasing cervical range of motion in individuals with mechanical neck pain. The results are calculated using NPRS and cervical ROM.This study concludes that both UST with isometric exercises and IFT with soft tissue release are effective modalities in managing mechanical neck pain. However, IFT combined with soft tissue mobilization exhibited greater improvements in cervical mobility, particularly in flexion and rotation, and slightly more substantial pain relief. Thus, integrating manual therapy techniques with interferential current therapy may offer a more comprehensive and functionally restorative approach for patients experiencing mechanical neck dysfunction..
