Description

In this project we studied the impact of adult-onset isolated-GH deficiency (AOiGHD) on lifespan and skeletal integrity, including the articular cartilage, in male and female mice. Our findings showed sexually dimorphic effects of AOiGHD on lifespan, where females live longer. Sexual dimorphic affects were also seen in osteoarthritis where males develop more severe osteoarthritis.
