Lunpia Dataset
Description
This dataset contains the results of interviews and observations using a netnographic research approach, using video content on the social media platform TikTok featuring traditional Indonesian food, Lunpia. Data was collected by researchers between July and September 2024. This dataset explains how Generation Z interacts with local culinary culture through social media content, specifically AI-based personalized TikTok content. This dataset includes emotional interaction metrics (views, likes, shares, comments) described by participants, which led to a desire to comment on traditional food content that crossed their feeds. All participant identities and direct TikTok links have been removed to ensure compliance and protect participant privacy. This dataset serves as a reference for studies on digital communication, cultural identity representation, and AI-based personalized traditional food content on social media platforms.
