Graphs and statistics from the research
Description
The study developed a conceptual framework called the “circle of corporate strategic investments,” linking strategic investments, growth, profitability, and company value. Through this model and empirical testing, the authors confirmed three hypotheses: strategic investments drive overall company growth, increase company value through profit generation, and improve productivity and business performance. This conceptual research model is a novelty, not studied and presented elsewhere before. The research findings were supported by statistical analysis (regression analysis, correlation coeficients calculation, chi-square, synthesis, etc.) using SPSS on data from large and medium-sized Slovenian companies between 2000 and 2017 (a very representative statistical sample comprising 267 companies).
