Description

This dataset supports a military-to-civilian job matching and resume generation system for ex-servicemen. It contains synthetic military service records and civilian job postings used to evaluate semantic retrieval between military experience and civilian employment opportunities. The dataset includes multilingual synthetic service records in English, Hindi, and Tamil across five military background categories: infantry, logistics, signals, medical, and engineering. Each record contains structured profile metadata such as profile ID, name, rank, category, years of service, language, date of birth, discharge date, and a synthetic service record text. The civilian job dataset contains job titles, company names, job descriptions, locations, salary information where available, source information, and job identifiers. The paired examples link military records to relevant civilian job descriptions for retrieval and matching experiments. The dataset is intended for research on semantic job recommendation, military-to-civilian skill translation, multilingual information retrieval, resume generation, and ex-servicemen employment support. All military profiles are synthetically generated and do not represent real individuals.
