Steps to reproduce

To reproduce MPlus analyses using a new .dat file : Open SPSS File (MergedV2 preferably), File → Export → Save as Type: Fixed ASCII (*dat) → Use as input file in MPlus. If you produce any new variables, they must be set as "Scale" variables in SPSS to be usable in MPlus. They must also have the same "Width" and "Decimals" as all other variables. Example MPlus Data section: "DATA: FILE IS 'C:\Users\YourName\Downloads\Merged File V5_1.dat'; FORMAT is 213F8.2;" "Format is" section refers to how data are arranged in the SPSS file. The "213" is the number of variables. "F8.2" refers to the "Width" and "Decimals" section for all variables (i.e., Width = 8 Decimals = 2). Assessing/ Replicating Results: Configural Invariance Testing: Use MGCFA syntax, and correlated errors between items across timepoints as they are not independent (i.e., these data are from a longitudinal data collection, so participants will remember their last responses) For scales with less than 4 items (i.e., achievement), use items from another scale to ensure identification. Scalar/ Metric Invariance Testing: constrain item slopes and intercepts to be the same across timepoints. Determine equivalent item first using Omnibus test of nonequivalence. Assessing sources of Nonequivalence: use MIMIC syntax. Relational Equivalence Testing: constrain slope and intercepts of regression weights.
