GLP1R and GIPR genotyping

Description

We genotyped four previously reported variants associated with GLP1-RA efficacy and adverse effects; GLP1R rs10305420 and rs11760106, rs9357296 near the GLP1R locus, and GIPR rs1800437 in 1025 unrelated Indian adults representing multiple ethnicities. Genotyping was done by amplification (PCR) followed by Sanger's sequencing. Allele and genotype frequencies were evaluated along with ethnicity-specific distribution
