The impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the performance of medical staff at Al Ghaydah Central Hospital.

The study aimed to measure the impact of the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic—specifically its social, administrative, and financial dimensions on the performance of the medical staff at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital in AlGhaydah City. The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology, using a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection. The study population consisted of medical staff, including specialist doctors, general practitioners, technicians, and nurses at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital. Due to the relatively small size of the population (193 individuals), the study utilized a comprehensive survey approach. A total of 123 out of 158 returned questionnaires were analyzed. The descriptive-analytical approach was used to describe and analyze the study variables. The key findings indicated that the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic in its various dimensions were present at an acceptable level and with a high degree of availability at Al-Ghaydah Central Hospital. Similarly, the performance level of the medical staff was also at an acceptable and highly available level. The study found that the pandemic's repercussions (social, administrative, and financial) had a significant impact on the performance of the medical staff. Moreover, a strong positive correlation was identified between the performance of the medical staff and the pandemic's repercussions.
