The dataset comprises 1,145 software requirements from 15 distinct software projects spanning multiple domains such as healthcare, finance, e-commerce, and transportation. Functional Requirements (FR) =722 and Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) = 424. Non-functional requirements (NFR) are divided into specific quality attributes: performance, security, usability, and others. This curated dataset evaluates the three leading Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools—NLTK, OpenAI, and spaCy—by providing empirical evidence for tool selection in requirements engineering and establishing benchmarks for NLP performance for automated software requirements analysis.
