Description

This is a database of 10,000 measurement points from the Warsaw area, each with geographic coordinates and remote sensing indices NDBI (buildings) and NDVI (vegetation), along with land cover classification probabilities (built_prob, trees_prob, water_prob) from the Dynamic World layer. The key variable is UHI – a continuous value of urban heat island intensity (from approximately -33 to +16), and its binary version UHI_binary, balanced precisely for 5000/5000 cases of classes 0 and 1. The data structure indicates that this is a training/test set prepared for classification (e.g., Random Forest) of the presence/absence of SUHI based on surface features extracted from Google Earth Engine.
